Dayshell

Dayshell is a post-hardcore band from California. The band was started by Shayley Bourget after he left Of Mice & Men. They formed in 2012 and have released 2 albums so far.

I listened to Of Mice & Men for a couple of years before Shayley Bourget left the band and I always loved his voice, so when he left the band to start a new project I knew I had to follow it. I was not disappointed. Their first release Dayshell was incredible, with great songs like "Not Coming In", "Imbecile", "A Waste of Space" and "I Owe You Nothing".

In 2016 they released a second album called Nexus. In my opinion it was a good album, but it didn't quite hit me the same way that their debut album did. In saying that, there were still fantstic songs on the album, namely "Carsick".
